2026 Akebonoyama Agricultural Park Water Play Corner Full-Day Course

A course for a full day of play built around 「Akebonoyama Agricultural Park Water Play Corner」, a free water play area in Akebonoyama Agricultural Park in Kashiwa City. In most years it is open from Sunday, August 2 to Monday, August 31, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; it runs only on days the park is open and is cancelled in rainy weather. Its distinctive features are a shallow pool in Furusato Plaza (near the rear gate) and a ladybird-shaped fountain, and families will appreciate that shade is provided by tents, reed screens and benches. Both admission and parking are free, so it is easy to head out here. The Park Center has a kids' room and a shop, so resting and restocking are no trouble either. In the morning, look up at the vermilion two-storey gate and main hall of Fuse Benten Tokaiji Temple (布施弁天 東海寺), standing right beside the park, and touch on the history of this land. Next, take in the Japanese garden and windmill at Akebonoyama Park, and have lunch at the Park Center. In the afternoon, finish the day sending the spray flying at the Water Play Corner.
