2026 Shisei Kinen Park (市制記念公園) Water Play Area: Full-Day Fun Course

This is a course for a full day of play close to home, built around the free water play area in Shisei Kinen Park (市制記念公園) in Kamagaya City: the Shisei Kinen Park Water Play Area (Fountain). It is a fountain-style water play area prepared for preschoolers, and it is relatively new, having been built in 2024. The city's official information says only that it opens in summer and gives no dates, so check before you set out. The opening period has not been announced; in past years it has opened during the summer holidays. The park itself is open from 9:00 to 17:00, and from 9:00 to 19:00 in summer. Admission is free, so you can also just drop by in the evening to cool off for a while. In the morning, go and see the Kamagaya Great Buddha standing right next to the park, then trace the pioneering history of this land at the Kamagaya City Folk Museum. Have a proper lunch at Across Mall Shin-Kamagaya and stock up on spare clothes and drinks. In the afternoon, head back to Shisei Kinen Park (市制記念公園) and take it easy in the spray of the fountain.
