2026 Toyoichi Park (十余一公園) Water-Play Pond & Stream Full-Day Course
This is a course for spending a full day playing nearby, centered on Toyoichi Park's Water-Play Pond & Stream (十余一公園 親水池・せせらぎ) in Shiroi City. The park has two ponds connected by a stream, where you can walk through the shallow flow or scoop up water to play. With a promenade, parking lot, and restrooms all in place, it's easy to get around whether you come by car or by train and bus. Use is free, and the 2026 operating period has not yet been announced; in a typical year, water flows during summer vacation. In the morning, touch on old tools and the history of pear farming at the Shiroi City Local History Museum (白井市郷土資料館), then take a stroll around the flower hill at Chiba Prefectural Hokuso Flower Hill Park (千葉県立北総花の丘公園). For lunch, eat leisurely at AEON Mall Chiba New Town (イオンモール千葉ニュータウン) and pick up anything you're missing. In the afternoon, return to Toyoichi Park's Water-Play Pond & Stream and play in the water until evening, moving back and forth along the stream. By alternating indoor and outdoor time, you can spend the whole day even on a hot day without overexerting yourself. It's reassuring to check the day's water-flow status with Shiroi City's information before heading out.
