2026 Omiya Hana-no-Oka Agricultural and Forestry Park Water Play Plaza: Full-Day Course

This course spends a whole day among flowers and water, centered on the Water Play Plaza (Jabu-Jabu Pond) at Omiya Hana-no-Oka Agricultural and Forestry Park in Nishi Ward, Saitama City. The plaza is open from Monday, July 20 to Monday, August 31, 2026, from 9:00 to 16:00 (it may be unavailable for cleaning and similar reasons). Use is free, and the grounds have restrooms plus a flower food hall shop and a restaurant, so a big advantage is that you can spend the whole day here without packing a lunch. Just note that pets are not allowed. As the name suggests, this is a park of vast flower fields, and the way the whole expanse takes on color with each season is a sight worth seeing. In the morning, get moving at neighboring Mitsuhashi Comprehensive Park, then walk the park's flower fields and take in the summer blooms. At midday, taste the local harvest at the flower food hall and restaurant, and in the afternoon send up sprays of water at the Water Play Plaza. Since it is open for only a month and a half over the summer holidays, it is best to settle on your date early.
