2026 Nanasegawa Nature Park Seseragi Stream Channel Full-Day Course

This is a summer one-day outing course starring the Nanasegawa Nature Park Seseragi Stream Channel at Nanasegawa Nature Park in the Wasada district of Oita City. A stream channel about 300 meters long flows around a wide lawn plaza of 26,000 square meters. Because the water is shallow, even small children can safely enjoy it together with a guardian. The 2026 water flow is expected to run through the summer season from around July 1, but the official Oita City page does not state the period when water runs through the channel, so please check with Oita City before you set out. Inside the park there is a play area with a combination structure offering various slides and a zip line, along with equipment for younger children. Crossing Ayatori Bridge or taking a break at the rest facility Nanase House gives you plenty to enjoy beyond water play. In the morning, walk the quiet forest approach at Sasamuta Shrine (西寒多神社), known as the head shrine of Bungo Province, then keep lunch light at a large shopping complex in Wasada. In the afternoon it is finally time for the stream channel, where you can play on the water and the lawn until evening. No fee is listed, so it is easy to drop by, which families will appreciate.
