2026 Sakai Green Museum Harvest Hill Splash Plaza Full-Day Course

Sakai Green Museum Harvest Hill, an agricultural park spread across the hills of Minami Ward, Sakai City, is home to Sakai Green Museum Harvest Hill Splash Plaza, a water-play area opened for the summer. The 2026 season runs from Sat 4/25 to Wed 9/23 (national holiday). Hours are 10:00-15:00 (last entry 14:30); in August, 9:00-16:00 (last entry 15:30); and during Golden Week from 5/3 to 5/5, 9:00-15:00. At roughly 1,800 square metres it is generously sized, and the changing rooms and showers are a big reassurance for an outdoor water-play area. The Splash Plaza itself is free, but separate admission to Harvest Hill is required. It closes in rain, and use may be restricted when crowded. In the morning, enjoy the large play structure and exhibits at Sakai City Big Bang in Izumigaoka, then have a packed lunch in the shade of neighbouring Ohasu Park. In the afternoon, climb the hill to Harvest Hill and reach the water-play climax on grounds spread with animals and flowers. It is a Semboku-style plan that lets you visit both an indoor facility and open nature in a single day.
