2026 Momijigaoka Children's Water Play Area Full-Day Course

This is a full-day course starring the Momijigaoka Children's Water Play Area, a free water play spot that Minoh City opens only during the summer. In 2026 it is open from Monday 20 July to Monday 31 August, 10:30 to 15:30, with a lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00 and closure on rainy days. It is for children up to third grade of elementary school, and a guardian must accompany them. Because it is a shallow water play area staffed by attendants, even children not yet used to water can spend the time calmly. It is free of charge, making it just the right size for families who want summer water play without travelling far. In the morning, visit Minoo Falls (箕面大滝), the famous sight of Minoh. The waterfall path leading from Hankyu Minoh Station is a shaded riverside route where the temperature drops as you walk, and standing before the falls the spray and breeze cool you all at once. After coming down from the mountain, enjoy a quiet moment at Saikoji Temple (西江寺) near the entrance to the path. Have lunch in front of Minoh Station, then head to the water play area after its lunch break. It is a plan that lets you enjoy two kinds of water in one day, mountain water and a town water play area.
