2026 Kawaguchi Nishi Park Stream Full-Day Course
This is a one-day course around Kawaguchi Station in Kawaguchi City, walking the neighborhood and finishing with water play at the Kawaguchi Nishi Park (Lilia Park) Stream in Kawaguchi Nishi Park. The stream runs from Wednesday, July 1, 2026 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00. It operates almost year-round in most years (with shorter hours in winter), while the Multipurpose Plaza stream is currently suspended. Admission is free, and there are two brook-and-waterfall style water features (the Event Plaza stream and the Rest Plaza stream), plus accessible restrooms. Its greatest appeal is the convenient location right at the west exit of Kawaguchi Station, so you can come easily by train. In the morning, visit Kawaguchi Shrine and touch on the history of Kawaguchi, a town that prospered through the casting industry. Then head to the Kawaguchi City Central Library in Cupo-la. This large library stays open into the evening, and the children's book section is arranged at a child's eye level. At midday, eat and pick up supplies in the cool air at Ario Kawaguchi, then spend the afternoon splashing in the Lilia Park stream. It is a light, easy outing that begins and ends at the station.
