2026 Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park PLAY PEAK ITADAKI Adventure Lake Full-Day Course

A course for a full day of play at an altitude of 642 m on the mountain, centered on Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park (生駒山上遊園地) PLAY PEAK ITADAKI Adventure Lake in Ikoma City. Adventure Lake lets children enjoy water play and sand play at the same time in shallows modeled on a lake, and it also has an exploration boat floating on the lake and circuit rides. The opening of a water gun corner was announced for 31 July 2026. PLAY PEAK ITADAKI is a play area supervised by BorneLund, with Sky Walk Hill, Swing Valley, Toddler Garden and the indoor Mountain Hut, so the fun never stops even when children tire of the water. Admission is 600 yen for age 1, 1,500 yen for ages 2 through elementary school as well as junior high school students and above, 600 yen for accompanying guardians and free for under 1, with unlimited play for the day and free entry and re-entry on the same day. The season runs from Saturday 7 March 2026 to Sunday 6 December 2026, but it opens only on weekends, public holidays and some weekdays (weekdays are basically closed and reserved for school groups), so be sure to check the opening days before you set out. The water play period has not been announced; in past years it has been enjoyable in summer. In the morning, visit Hozanji Temple (寳山寺), affectionately known as Ikoma Shoten (生駒聖天), then ride the Ikoma Cable Car, the first cable car to open in Japan, up to the summit. In a breeze cooler than at the foot of the mountain, spend the afternoon sending up sprays of water.
