2026 Yuda Onsen Konkon Park Fountain Plaza: Full-Day Course

This one-day course, enjoyed on foot around the hot-spring town, stars the Yuda Onsen Konkon Park Fountain Plaza, the outdoor area of an exchange-hub facility in Yuda Onsen, Yamaguchi City. It is a brand-new facility that opened on June 1, 2025, and because the fountains are mist-like, you can enjoy just the right amount of water play without getting soaked through. The outdoor fountain plaza is open at all times, but the operating period and hours of the fountains are not published, so please check with the facility (083-922-8009) before you go. Beside the plaza are a lawn area with a large play structure themed on the white fox, a free footbath, and a play area, drawing area and outdoor dining area on the second-floor deck, so you will never be short of places to spend time before and after the water play. Use is free, and at the facility parking lot the first hour from entry is free, with 100 yen per hour after that. In the morning, touch on the poet's life at the Nakahara Chuya Memorial Museum (中原中也記念館) within walking distance, then enjoy a footbath moment that feels just like Yuda Onsen at Inoue Park (井上公園). Take a leisurely lunch in the hot-spring town, and in the afternoon enjoy the nature and science exhibits at the Yamaguchi Prefectural Yamaguchi Museum (山口県立山口博物館) while cooling off. Return to Konkon Park toward evening and close the day in the spray of the mist fountains.
