2026 Seiryu Park Midori-no-Hiroba Waterside Zone: A Full Day of Fun

A course for spending a whole day close to home, starring the Seiryu Park Midori-no-Hiroba Waterside Zone in Fuefuki City (笛吹市). The Waterside Zone, built to evoke the clear stream of the Fuefuki River (笛吹川), is a free spot that Fuefuki City describes as ideal for children's water play. The opening period has not been announced (usually the summer season), so please check the official Fuefuki City website for the latest information before you set out. The car park is available from 9:00 to 22:00, and Midori-no-Hiroba also has a lawn stage used for open-air concerts and similar events. In the morning, enjoy something uniquely Isawa at the Isawa Gensen Footbath Plaza in front of Isawa Onsen Station (石和温泉駅): soaking just your feet in hot spring water at the start of the trip. Then move on to the Yamanashi Prefectural Museum (山梨県立博物館), known as Kaijiamu, in Misaka-cho (御坂町), Fuefuki City, and take your time going around the hands-on exhibits that trace Yamanashi's nature and the path its people have walked. Wait out the hottest hours in the air-conditioned galleries, then spend the afternoon splashing in the Waterside Zone. This course lets you enjoy the atmosphere of the Isawa hot spring town and the waterside of the Fuefuki River in a single day.
