2026 Seichodai No. 2 Park Wading Pool (清眺台第2公園 徒渉池) Full-Day Course

A one-day course built around the Seichodai No. 2 Park Wading Pool (清眺台第2公園 徒渉池), a children's pool at Seichodai No. 2 Park in the Hino district of Gifu City (日野北5丁目5-3). In 2026 it opens on a total of 18 days between July 21 and August 7, from 13:00 to 16:00. Use is free, and as a rule it is for children in the third year of elementary school and under. Preschoolers must be accompanied by a guardian, and infants not yet out of diapers cannot use it. Opening days follow the schedule published by Gifu City, so be sure to check before you set out. In bad weather a red flag is raised at the wading pool and it is closed for that day. In the morning, spend unhurried time at Gifu City Livestock Center Park with its broad lawns and animals, then visit Tejikarao Shrine (手力雄神社), known for its fire festival. Every stop is grouped in the eastern part of the city, so the drives between them are short. The afternoon is time to soak in the shallow water of the Seichodai No. 2 Park wading pool.
