2026 Shobuike Park Wading Pool Full-Day Course

This is a one-day course centered on the Shobuike Park Wading Pool (菖蒲池公園 徒渉池), a childrens pool in Shobuike Park (菖蒲池公園, 鏡島字辰巳野2970-1) in the Kagashima district of Gifu City. In 2026 it opens on a total of 31 days between July 22 and August 26, from 13:00 to 16:00. It has one of the largest numbers of opening days in the city, so it is easy to fit into summer-holiday plans. Use is free, and it is intended in principle for children up to the third grade of elementary school. Preschoolers must be accompanied by a guardian, and infants still in diapers cannot use it. Opening days follow the schedule published by Gifu City, so be sure to check before you set out. In bad weather a red flag is raised at the wading pool and that day is cancelled.
