2026 Kojima District Park Pop Jet Fountain Full-Day Course
This course centers on the ‘Kojima District Park Pop Jet Fountain’ in Kojima, Kurashiki City, and lets you spend a full day playing close by. The Pop Jet Fountain, which shoots water up from the ground, is a free water-play spot, and children become absorbed simply chasing after the timing of the water columns and running around. The Kojima Marine Pool (paid, a separate facility) with diving platforms is also located on the same grounds, so it is convenient to be able to choose the combination that suits the mood of the day. The 2026 operating period for the fountain has not yet been announced, so please check Kurashiki City's information for that day's operation before heading out. In the morning, walk through Kojima Jeans Street, known as the birthplace of Japanese-made jeans, and take in the atmosphere of this denim town. Next, going up to the observation deck on Mt. Washu opens up a view of the Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands large and small, with the Seto Ohashi Bridge stretching across it. Take in the streets of Kojima from the Kojima Observation Point along the Washuzan Park Line, and after lunch, enjoy the splashes at the fountain plaza in the afternoon. With denim, stunning Seto Inland Sea scenery, and water play, this is a day packed with everything that makes Kojima special.
