2026 Full-Day Course: Kasugano Central Park (春日野中央公園) Water-Play Plaza (親水広場)
Kasugano Central Park (春日野中央公園), located in a hilltop residential area of Asaminami Ward, Hiroshima City, has an artificial stream called the Kasugano Central Park (春日野中央公園) Water-Play Plaza (親水広場), the Seseragi Stream (せせらぎ). Its charm lies in the gentle current and shallow depth, which let even children who have just learned to walk dip their feet in and play. The park also has a large combination play structure and a lawn plaza, and with gazebos and shelters in place, you can rest out of the sun and spend a long stretch of time here. Admission is free. Despite being tucked into a residential area, the park has good views and a breeze passes through, making it relatively comfortable even in the height of summer. The opening period for 2026 has not yet been announced, so please check the latest information before you set out. This full-day course begins with a morning stroll through Hiroshima Regional Park (広島広域公園), which spreads across the Seifu Shinto (西風新都) area. After walking the vast grounds lined with stadiums and sports facilities, move to Kasugano Central Park (春日野中央公園) for a picnic lunch on the lawn. In the afternoon, enjoy the large combination play structure before dipping your feet into the stream and relaxing. With short travel distances between stops, it's an easy-to-plan neighborhood outing even with small children in tow.
