2026 Full-Day Course: Pocket Oasis Shimizu Splash Pond and Stream
A small waterside plaza in Shimizu, Meguro City, is the Pocket Oasis Shimizu Splash Pond and Stream. The 2026 operating period runs from Wednesday, July 1 to Wednesday, September 30, from 9:00 to 16:30, and the city's official wording is from the first week of July until around the end of September. The area cannot be used on the inspection day held roughly once a month, and the date and time are posted on site. The water is disinfected with chlorine and other treatments, and water-play sandals are recommended. Food and drink may not be brought in and pets may not enter the water, so it works well to finish lunch at a nearby park first. The venue is Pocket Oasis Shimizu in Meguro City, within walking distance of Rinshi-no-Mori Park. In the morning, visit Otori Shrine (大鳥神社), said to be the oldest shrine in Meguro City, learn how Meguro came to be at the Meguro Museum of History, then spread out a packed lunch under the big trees of Rinshi-no-Mori Park. In the afternoon, it is water play at the Pocket Oasis Shimizu Splash Pond and Stream until it closes at 16:30. Everything is free, and the whole day works by train and on foot.
