2026 Tsurumaki Higashi Park Wading Pool Full-Day Course
This is a one-day course centered on the 'Tsurumaki Higashi Park Wading Pool' in Tsurumaki Higashi Park, Tama City, that stays complete within the local area. In 2026 it is open from Saturday, July 18 through Monday, August 31, from 9:00 to 16:00. The pool water is tap water managed with chlorine-based disinfectant, so you can feel reassured letting small children play there. Next to it is a hillside plaza where kids can run around or spread out a sheet to rest after getting out of the water. Admission is free, and it's conveniently within walking distance from the town center of Tama Center. In the morning, at Parthenon Tama, compare exhibits of life before and after Tama New Town was built. At midday, relax on a sheet in the shade beside the large pond at Tama Chuo Park. In the afternoon, view the plants at the Tama City Green Live Center before heading to Tsurumaki Higashi Park. Wrap up the day by enjoying water play until evening. Note that the pool is closed on Thursdays, July 30, August 6, August 13, and August 20 for cleaning, so please check Tama City's official website before you set out.
