2026 Miyanomori Seseragi Park Water Flow Facility Full-Day Course
This course centers on Miyanomori Seseragi Park Water Flow Facility in southwestern Utsunomiya, combining it with a generous day of hopping between a science museum and an amusement park in Nishikawada. According to Utsunomiya City, in 2026 the water runs from Saturday, July 18 through Sunday, August 30, from 10:00 to 16:00. It's free to use, and besides the water flow facility there is a gazebo, swings, and a horizontal bar, making it easy to rest in the shade while playing. It is scheduled to close on July 31 and August 28 for regular cleaning, so plan around those dates. Entering the water barefoot is not allowed, so be sure to bring sandals or other footwear. In the morning, visit the Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Science for Children, which is full of hands-on displays about space, vehicles, and how the body works, and lets you spend a generous morning in a cool, air-conditioned building. After a lunch break, ride the Ferris wheel or the carousel at the neighboring Tochinoki Family Land to lift the mood. In the afternoon, move to Miyanomori Seseragi Park and splash around at the water flow facility until evening. All three spots are close together, so a nice thing about this course is that you won't get worn out moving between them.
