2026 Higashihirao Park Otani Plaza Splash Pool (東平尾公園 大谷広場 じゃぶじゃぶ池): A Full Day of Fun

This course centers on the Higashihirao Park Otani Plaza Splash Pool (東平尾公園 大谷広場 じゃぶじゃぶ池) in Higashihirao Park (東平尾公園), Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, and lets you spend a full day playing nearby. In 2026 it is open from Tuesday, July 21 to Wednesday, August 26, between 10:00 and 16:00. Note that on Tuesdays the pool has shortened hours of 13:00 to 16:00 for cleaning, so if you visit on a Tuesday, plan for the afternoon. Admission is free, and the pool is cleaned and refilled with fresh water every day, which is reassuring for families with small children. Right next to the splash pool is an adventure corner with a roller slide and climbing equipment, so children can keep playing at their own pace, moving between the water when they tire of the playground and back to the playground when they tire of the water. Otani Plaza (大谷広場) just finished a full renewal of all its areas in April 2026, so the facilities are new and pleasant to use.
