2026 Kanaya Kaihin Park Pool: A Full-Day Course
This is a one-day course centered on Kanaya Kaihin Park Pool in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture, open from Monday, July 20 (national holiday), 2026 through Thursday, August 20. It is an outdoor pool inside Kanaya Kaihin Park facing Tokyo Bay, surrounded by scenery unique to the Uchibo coast, with the sea in front and Mount Nokogiri behind. In the morning, head first to Mount Nokogiri. Ride the ropeway straight to the summit and explore stone formations carved into the sheer rock face, such as Nihon-ji Temple's 100-shaku Kannon statue and the Jigoku-nozoki cliff lookout. Tokyo Bay spreads out below, and on clear days you can see all the way to the Miura Peninsula and Mount Fuji on the far shore, a grand panorama. After coming down the mountain, head to Kanaya Port. Have lunch while watching the Tokyo Bay Ferry come and go, then spend the afternoon playing in the water at Kanaya Kaihin Park Pool. This generous course lets you enjoy the best of Uchibo, mountains, sea, and water, all in a single day. It is easily accessible via the Tateyama Expressway or the Tokyo Bay Ferry, making it perfectly enjoyable even as a day trip.
