2026 Full-Day Course: Takaishijin Park Mini Pool

Centered on the Takaishijin Park Mini Pool in Ichikawa City, open from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, August 31, 2026, this is a one-day course. The venue is Takaishijin Park, located in a residential area. The mini pool inside is a shallow pool for children from toddlers to third-grade elementary schoolers, making it perfect for a first water-play experience or pool debut. Even little ones who need constant watching at large leisure pools can relax here with their parents. The pool is closed every Friday during the season, but it is open on July 24 and August 7, so check the day of the week when planning. In the morning, walk the spacious grounds of Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple, known as a major head temple of the Nichiren sect, then meet guinea pigs and other animals at the Ichikawa City Zoological and Botanical Garden before heading to the pool around midday. In Ichikawa City, close to central Tokyo, this is a gentle day out for families with young children, combining the calm of a temple town, contact with animals, and water play all in one.
