2026 Sanchobatake Park Mini Pool Full-Day Course
This is a one-day course centered on the 'Sanchobatake Park Mini Pool' in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, open from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, August 31, 2026. Located inside Sanchobatake Park, this shallow mini pool is designed for children from toddlers to third-graders in elementary school. Its greatest appeal is that children who are not yet ready for a big pool can safely play while standing on their own feet. In the morning, start at 'Ichikawa City Zoological and Botanical Garden.' Meet red pandas and capybaras, ride the mini railway, and spend time up close with the animals. Next, stop by 'Joyato Park,' developed along the banks of the old Edo River, and take in the stone lantern that lit the boat landing in the Edo period, along with the waterside scenery. From early afternoon, head to the Sanchobatake Park Mini Pool. Splashing water back and forth in the shallow pool, the afternoon will pass by in no time. Note, however, that the pool is closed every Friday (though it is open on July 24 and August 7), so please check your schedule carefully. This is a relaxed day in Ichikawa City, paced to match little ones.
