2026 Hidaka City Public Pool Full-Day Course
This is a one-day course centered on Hidaka City Public Pool, open from July 18 to August 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hidaka City Public Pool has a pool divided into three sections of 50m, 25m, and 20m with different water depths, as well as a toddler pool with a slide. Since a single body of water is partitioned, its great appeal is that children who want to swim, children who want to wade, and children still nervous about not being able to touch the bottom can each choose the depth that suits them. The fees are also reasonable: 300 yen for adults, 100 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and free for preschoolers. In the morning, visit Koma Shrine, which carries the history of Koma District, then head to Saiboku, known for its pork dishes and natural hot spring. Enjoy an early lunch while browsing the grassy plaza and the meat shop. In the afternoon, enjoy water play at Hidaka City Public Pool until evening. It's a summer day distinctively Hidaka, linking history, food, and water play in sequence.
Schedule
Walk the quiet approach path of an ancient shrine said to have been founded by immigrants
Move your body in the grassy plaza, then enjoy an early lunch of the area's famous pork dishes
Enjoy the pool divided into three depths and the toddler pool with a slide
