2026 Katsuragi City Shinjo Sports Center Pool Full-Day Course

This is a one-day course centered on Katsuragi City Shinjo Sports Center Pool, open from July 18 to August 23, 2026. Katsuragi City Shinjo Sports Center Pool is a municipal facility with a 25m pool that is 95-115cm deep, a landing pool for the slide (60cm deep), and a toddler pool (30cm deep). With three depth levels available, children who can swim, children who want to enjoy the slide, and small children still nervous about water can each play in the area suited to them. It's free for city residents and reasonably priced for visitors from outside the city. In the morning, visit Taimadera Temple, built at the foot of Mount Nijo, and look up at the bell said to be Japan's oldest and the east and west three-story pagodas. Next, enjoy an early lunch at Michi-no-Eki Katsuragi while browsing local produce. In the afternoon, enjoy plenty of water play at the pool.
