2026 Kamisuiryu Children's Pool (上水流児童プール) Full-Day Course

This half-day course centers on Kamisuiryu Children's Pool (上水流児童プール) in Miyazaki City, open from Thursday, July 23 to Monday, August 24, 2026. The 10m x 20m children's pool has two depths, 30cm and 50cm, shallow enough for small children to stand and play on their own feet, and admission is free. Since the pool is open only in the morning, from 10:00 to 12:00, and closed on Wednesdays and August 13-15, plan to be up and moving from early morning. Because the pool session ends by midday, the time before it is set aside for Miyazaki Jingu Shrine (宮崎神宮) and the Miyazaki Prefectural Museum (宮崎県総合博物館). The deep forest of Miyazaki Jingu Shrine has especially clear morning air, and the adjoining prefectural museum's permanent exhibits are free to enter. Both can be visited in a short time, so you'll make it to the pool's 10 a.m. opening. Since the afternoon brings the peak heat of the day, wrapping up early without overdoing it and heading home is the right way to spend a Miyazaki summer.
