This full-day course centers on the outdoor lazy river pool at Nakatsugawa Onsen Qua Resort Yubunesawa (中津川温泉 クアリゾート湯舟沢) in Nakatsugawa City, open daily only during the summer season from Saturday, July 18 to Sunday, August 30, 2026. At the foot of Mount Ena, this hot spring resort sits in the valley of Yubunesawa, and its outdoor lazy river pool and outdoor jacuzzi are open only during summer. Inside the facility there's also a 20m x 3-lane indoor heated pool, a 63-meter water slide, and a hot spring, so you can play in the outdoor flowing pool, cheer on the indoor slide, and finally warm up in the hot spring — a day plan that isn't affected by the weather, which is its biggest strength. In the morning, walk the stone-paved slope of Magome-juku (馬籠宿), a post town on the Nakasendo Highway, then experience the old highway's atmosphere at the Ochiai Stone Pavement (落合の石畳), before heading to the pool past noon.
