2026 Full-Day Course: Osaki Orange Pool
This is a one-day course centered on Osaki Orange Pool, open to the public from Monday, July 20 to Monday, August 31, 2026, on Osakikamijima. Osakikamijima, floating in the Seto Inland Sea, is an island not connected to the mainland by bridge, so the trip begins with a ferry crossing. In the morning, head to Kannomine Observatory. From the roughly 450m summit, a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Seto Inland Sea's many islands unfolds, with over 100 islands said to be visible on a clear day. Next, walk through the streets of Kinoe. Once a thriving port town, the street still has rows of three-story wooden houses, and tucked among them stands Otomeza, a reconstructed Taisho-era theater. In the afternoon, head to Osaki Orange Pool, where the island's children spend their summers, offering relaxed time free from the bustle of typical tourist spots. In the calm air of this mikan-orange island, spend a day connecting stunning views, historic streets, and water play.
