2026 Anan City Nakagawa B&G Marine Center Pool: A Full One-Day Course

This is a half-day course centered on Anan City Nakagawa B&G Marine Center Pool (阿南市那賀川B&G海洋センタープール) in Anan City. In 2026 it is open on Saturday July 25, Sunday July 26, Saturday August 1, Sunday August 2, and from Thursday August 6 through Sunday August 30, closed on Mondays. As a heatstroke-prevention measure, the pool is open only in the mornings, so this course is designed to start moving early and enjoy water play while the morning is still cool. The pool is an uncovered outdoor pool on the west side of Hirajima Elementary School, with a 25m pool and a children's pool. First, head to Kitanowaki Beach (北の脇海水浴場) on the Kii Channel south of Anan City, and walk the pleasant coastline of pine groves and white sand in the morning light. Next, go to Ushiki Castle Ruins Park (牛岐城趾公園) on a hilltop in the city area, taking in a view over the streets of Anan, then head to the pool in time for the 10 a.m. opening. Admission is 300 yen for high school students and up, 200 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and free for preschool children (accompanying adults are charged).
