2026 Inazawa City Jiromaru Pool: A Full Day of Water Fun
A one-day course centered on 'Inazawa City Jiromaru Pool' in Inazawa City, open from Sunday, July 19 to Monday, August 31, 2026. Opening hours run a generous 9:00 to 17:00, and the pool includes a 25m pool and a kids' pool. Best of all, admission is free, making it a neighborhood pool families can visit as often as they like throughout summer vacation. Note that it's closed all day on Tuesday, August 4, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. In the morning, head first to Owari Okunitama Shrine, commonly known as Kōnomiya, just a short walk from the pool. This ancient shrine is known for its Hadaka Matsuri, counted among Japan's three great strange festivals, and its spacious grounds and imposing gate tower are well worth seeing. Next, head to the National Kiso Sansen Park 138 Tower Park along the Kiso River. Climb the 138-meter-tall Twin Arch 138 for a sweeping view of the Nobi Plain and the flow of the Kiso River. With a grassy plaza and large play equipment, kids won't get bored. In the afternoon, move on to Inazawa City Jiromaru Pool and enjoy water play through the evening.
