2026 Maruyama Park Outdoor Pool Full-Day Course

This is a one-day course centered on the Maruyama Park Outdoor Pool (丸山公園屋外プール) in Nikko City, open from Saturday, July 18 to Wednesday, August 26, 2026. It runs in two sessions, 10:00-12:00 in the morning and 13:00-15:30 in the afternoon (entry reception starts at 9:45), and is closed for a special holiday on August 8. The highlight is a slide pool measuring 6.5 meters high, 31 meters long, and 60 centimeters deep, along with a main pool at 100 centimeters deep and a children's pool at 30 centimeters deep, making it enjoyable for all ages. Admission is a one-day pass for 200 yen for Nikko residents, 400 yen for non-residents, and free for infants and toddlers. A resident-only seasonal pass is a bargain at 730 yen. In the morning, first stop by Michi-no-Eki Nikko: Nikko Kaido Nikoniko Honjin, a rest stop where you can learn about the history of the cedar-lined avenue and browse Nikko's local products. Next, head to Nikko Daiyagawa Park and walk through the shade at this prefectural park spread along the Daiya River. After lunch, head to the Maruyama Park Outdoor Pool from 13:00.
