2026 Ogami Park Pool: A Full One-Day Course

This is a one-day course centered on Ogami Park Pool (大神公園プール) in Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, open from Monday, July 27 to Sunday, August 16, 2026. It's a seasonal outdoor pool inside Ogami Park, available only to Hiratsuka City residents and free of charge. It opens for the three hottest weeks of summer vacation as a water play spot for local children. In the morning, first visit Sannomiya Hibita Shrine (三之宮比々多神社), known as the third shrine of Sagami Province. With a long history, its grounds are quiet, surrounded by trees. Next, move on to Hiratsuka City Sogo Park, and take a leisurely walk through the large petting zoo, playground plaza, and lush green paths. The corner where you can interact with ponies and guinea pigs is especially popular with young children. Past noon, head to Ogami Park Pool and enjoy the water until evening, within a park surrounded by the greenery of the Sagami Plain.
