2026 Fukuoka City Jonan Citizens' Pool Outdoor Pool: Full-Day Course
This is a one-day course centered on the Fukuoka City Jonan Citizens' Pool Outdoor Pool, open from July 18 to August 26, 2026. The outdoor area features a children's pool just 0.3 to 0.4 meters deep and a large slide. With shallow water and an easy-to-understand attraction like the slide, it is designed to be most enjoyable for small children who cannot yet swim. Summer season rates for a 2-hour session are free for infants, 110 yen for elementary and junior high school students, 160 yen for high school students, and 320 yen for adults. In the morning, visit the Fukuoka City Zoological and Botanical Garden, where the zoo and botanical garden sit side by side on a hilltop, see giraffes and elephants, then explore the greenhouse and flower beds. Next, stop by Yusentei Park to cool off in a strolling-style Japanese garden with a pond that was once the villa of the Fukuoka domain lord. In the afternoon, enjoy water play at the pool. A day that connects animals, gardens, and water play for little ones, a very Jonan Ward way to spend the day.
