2026 Yoshii Pool Full-Day Course
This one-day course is centered on Yoshii Pool (吉井プール) at Yoshii Sports Park (吉井運動公園) in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. In 2026, it is open from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, August 31, operating in two shifts: 9:00 AM to noon, and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. It features three depths, a 50m pool (50m x 20m, depth 1.0-1.3m), a children's pool (20m x 10m, depth 0.5m), and a toddler pool (depth 0.05-0.3m), so family members of any age can find a spot to play. Admission is remarkably affordable: 150 yen for high school students and up, 100 yen for junior high school students and under. In the morning, start at Konjac Park (こんにゃくパーク) in Kanra Town. You can tour the konjac manufacturing process for free, and the tasting corner is a popular stop. Next, visit the Tako Stele Memorial Museum (多胡碑記念館) in Yoshii to see the Tako Stele (多胡碑), one of the Three Steles of Kozuke registered in the UNESCO Memory of the World, and get a taste of ancient Gunma. After noon, enjoy the afternoon session at Yoshii Pool (吉井プール). This is an outing in western Takasaki City that brings together learning, taste, and water play in a single day.
