2026 Itako City Kasumi Citizens' Pool Full-Day Course

This one-day course centers on Itako City Kasumi Citizens' Pool (潮来市立かすみ市民プール), open from Tuesday, July 21 to Monday, August 31, 2026. The pool is closed every Monday during its operating period. This outdoor pool operates only in summer and features a 25-meter pool along with a toddler pool equipped with a slide. Thanks to the toddler pool with its slide, even the youngest children get a play area of their own — a nice touch for families. Admission is 410 yen for adults living in the city and 520 yen for those from outside, 210 yen for elementary/school-age children living in the city and 260 yen for those from outside, and free for children under elementary school age. In the morning, start at Roadside Station Itako (道の駅いたこ). This gateway to the water town of Itako sells local produce and processed goods, making it a great spot for morning shopping. Next, move on to Kashima Jingu Shrine (鹿島神宮), and walk the vast grounds enveloped in dense forest to experience the atmosphere of this ancient shrine, one of the Three Shrines of the Eastern Provinces.
