2026 Ochise Terrace, Toei Town: River Play Full-Day Course
This is a one-day course centered on 'Ochise Terrace 2026 (Toei Josui Park River Play Area)' in Toei Town, Kitashitara District, Aichi Prefecture. It runs from Saturday, July 25 to Sunday, August 16, 2026, open only on weekends and during the Obon period. Using 'Toei Josui Park' along the Ochise River that flows through Toei Town, this is a river-play spot officially guided by the town's tourism authority. The riverside offers both relatively shallow spots easy for young children to enter and deeper spots, so you can choose where to play based on age. During the season, food trucks and other vendors sell food and drinks, so you can spend the whole day without worrying about meals. A campsite is also set up, and restrooms are maintained. Admission to the river play area is free, with only a 1,000-yen parking fee. In the morning, visit Hanamatsuri Kaikan, which preserves the nationally designated Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property 'Hana Matsuri,' and Tsuta-no-Fuchi, a famous waterfall known as 'Niagara of Oku-Mikawa,' then have lunch at Toei Onsen. This outing connects the culture and water of Oku-Mikawa in a single day—perfect for a summer weekend.
