2026 Kodomo no Kuni (こどもの国) Autumn Leaves Full-Day Course

Spend a day enjoying autumn leaves as you wander the spacious grounds of Kodomo no Kuni (こどもの国) in Aoba Ward, Yokohama. Katsura, ginkgo, zelkova, maple, and dawn redwood trees change color at different times, so you can enjoy the autumn colors over a long stretch from early November to late December in a typical year. The maples around Swan Lake (白鳥湖) are especially spectacular. The park is open 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (last admission 3:30 PM) and closed every Wednesday (open on public holidays). Admission is 800 yen for adults, 600 yen for high school students, 300 yen for elementary and junior high school students, 200 yen for young children (age 3 and up), and free for children aged 0-2 (rates revised April 1, 2026). In the morning, fill up on food around the nearby Kodomo no Kuni Station (こどもの国駅), then spend the afternoon strolling through the park's autumn foliage. It's a course the whole family can enjoy, kids can play to their heart's content while adults soak in the autumn scenery.
