2026 Full-Day Autumn Leaves Course at Koubo-yama Park
Enjoy a day of autumn-leaf hiking at Koubo-yama Park, a prefectural natural park you can climb on foot from Hadano Station. The best viewing season is typically from late November to early December. Across this area, three low mountains, Mt. Sengen, Mt. Gongen, and Mt. Koubo, are connected, and vivid Iroha maple colors await at the summits of Mt. Koubo and Mt. Gongen. Admission is free, and the convenience of a round trip that starts and ends at the station makes it a great choice for families. Along the way, stop by Koubou Shimizu, a famous natural spring, and from the observation deck on Mt. Gongen you can also take in views of Mt. Fuji and the Tanzawa mountain range. Even though these are low mountains, this course lets you experience the feel of a genuine mountain hike, perfect for autumn.
