2026 Kanagawa Prefectural Aikawa Park Autumn Leaves: A Full-Day Course

This course lets you enjoy a full autumn day at Kanagawa Prefectural Aikawa Park (神奈川県立あいかわ公園), which spreads out right below Miyagase Dam (宮ヶ瀬ダム). The autumn leaves are typically at their best from mid to late November, with dogwoods, flowering dogwoods, and maples turning color, and you can also admire enkianthus foliage between the parking lot and the entrance. Admission to the park is free. In the morning, interact with animals at the free-admission Hattori Farm (服部牧場); around midday, visit the impressive Miyagase Dam; and in the afternoon, spend plenty of time playing in the colorful park, making for an indulgent full day. You can also ride up to the dam on the cable car-style incline railway or the road train Ai-chan Go (愛ちゃん号), which will thoroughly satisfy kids who love vehicles. It is an autumn outing packed tightly with nature and play.
