2026 Kanagawa Prefectural Flower Center Ofuna Botanical Garden Autumn Leaves Full-Day Course

Spend a day enjoying both flowers and autumn leaves at once at the Kanagawa Prefectural Flower Center Ofuna Botanical Garden in Ofuna, Kamakura City. In the garden, maple and ginkgo trees typically turn color from November through early December, and during the same period the prefecture's largest chrysanthemum exhibition, the 《Kanagawa Prefecture Chrysanthemum Exhibition》, has been held (in 2025 it ran November 1-24; please check the official website for the 2026 schedule). Admission is an affordable 400 yen for adults, and free for junior high school students and younger. In the morning, stop by Ofuna Kannon-ji Temple, known for the White-Robed Kannon that symbolizes Ofuna, and take in a view of the town from the hilltop.
