2026 CIAL Sakuragicho Illumination: A Full-Day Course

A day to enjoy the illumination at CIAL Sakuragicho (シァル桜木町), the station building directly connected to Sakuragicho Station, together with Sakuragicho's classic spots. It is typically held from early November to late February (last year's dates: November 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026). The schedule, lighting hours, and fees for the 2026-27 season have not yet been announced, so please check the official website before heading out. In the early afternoon, meet the animals at the free-admission Nogeyama Zoo (野毛山動物園), then view the sailing ship at Nippon Maru Memorial Park (日本丸メモリアルパーク) before heading to Sakuragicho Station in the evening. Since it is directly connected to the station, you can casually enjoy the lights while moving back and forth into the warm building. Winter evenings get cold, so dress warmly.
