2026 Tama Plaza Terrace Illumination: A Full-Day Course

This is a day enjoying the Christmas illuminations, Terrace CHRISTMAS, at Tama Plaza Terrace (たまプラーザ テラス), directly connected to Tama-Plaza Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line. It typically runs from mid-November to December 25; last season it ran from November 14 to December 25, 2025, with lights on from 16:00 to 22:00. The main tree at Station Court on the first floor of Gate Plaza has also featured a show synchronizing sound and light (the 2026 schedule, lighting hours, and show details have not yet been announced - please check the official website before you go). In the early afternoon, spend plenty of time at Utsukushigaoka Park (美しが丘公園), just a short walk from the station, enjoying the outdoor play equipment and the popular Kids' Log House, then head to the station area in time for the evening light-up. Viewing is free, and since it is directly connected to the station, it is an easy course to get around even on cold days. It gets cold from evening onward, so dress warmly before you go.
