2026 Isezaki☆Light (Isezaki Mall): A Full-Day Course

This is a day centered on 'Isezaki☆Light,' where Yokohama's long-established Isezaki Mall shopping street is wrapped in light. It usually runs from late November to late February (2025-26 ran November 29 to February 28; the 2026-27 schedule has not yet been announced, so please check the official website). Viewing is free, and the appeal of a shopping-street illumination is that you can enjoy it casually while shopping or having dinner. In the early afternoon, head to Nogeyama Zoo, within walking distance of Sakuragicho Station. With free admission and the chance to see lions and giraffes, it is a Yokohama family classic. In the evening, head down to Isezakicho and take a leisurely stroll beneath the light decorations of Mall 1 and 2 St. Along with its long-established shops and lively street, you can experience a Yokohama old-town winter. It gets cold after sunset, so dress warmly.
