This day centers on the illumination that wraps the 2nd floor of Cubic Plaza Shin-Yokohama, directly connected to Shin-Yokohama Station, in light. It usually runs from mid-November to December 25 (in 2025 it ran November 11 to December 25; the 2026 schedule has not yet been announced, so please check the official website). Viewing is free. In the early afternoon, enjoy the Showa-era townscape and ramen from famous shops nationwide at the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum, then have some fun at the play equipment plaza in Shin-Yokohama Park, home to Nissan Stadium. Once the sun sets, head to Cubic Plaza, directly connected to the station. It is an easygoing winter outing that wraps up entirely within the station building, easy to combine with shopping, dinner, or waiting time for the Shinkansen or trains.
