2026 Pacifico Yokohama Winter Illumination: A Full-Day Course

A day centered on the winter illumination that lights up the seaside area of Minato Mirai around Pacifico Yokohama. The lights typically run for a long stretch from early November to early March; last year it ran from November 1, 2025 to March 1, 2026. The Queen's Mall Bridge, the Grand Staircase beside the National Convention Hall, and the area around Pukari Pier (ぷかりさん橋) are wrapped in light, and viewing is free (details for 2026-27 have not yet been announced, so please check the official information before heading out). Spend the early afternoon shopping and strolling by the sea at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse (横浜赤レンガ倉庫), then take a leisurely walk through Rinko Park (臨港パーク), Minato Mirai's largest park, before heading to the illuminated promenade at sunset. The wind off the sea is cold, so a well-bundled evening stroll is recommended.
