2026 Yokohama Milight Full-Day Course

This is a day spent walking 'Yokohama Milight,' an illumination that connects roughly 1.5km of pathway with light, from the east exit of Yokohama Station through Hama Mirai Walk and Grand Mall Park to the sailing ship Nippon Maru. Last year it was held from November 6, 2025 to February 8, 2026, and viewing is free. The 2026-27 schedule has not yet been announced, so please check official tourism information before heading out. In the early afternoon, cross the bridge just outside Yokohama Station's north-east exit to Yokohama Bay Quarter for lunch and shopping with sea views. After that, visit the free Nissan Global Headquarters Gallery to see classic cars and racing cars from throughout the brand's history. In the evening, timed with the lights turning on, return to the east exit of Yokohama Station and follow the ribbon of light on a stroll to Minatomirai. At the end of the walk, the night view of the sailing ship Nippon Maru and the surrounding skyscrapers awaits. Winter sea breezes can be cold, so please dress warmly before heading out.
