2026 Yamato Station Promenade East Illumination: A Full-Day Course

A day to enjoy the winter illuminations lighting up the plaza (promenade) in front of Yamato Station's east side. It is typically held from late November to early February each year (last year: November 26, 2025 to February 4, 2026. The schedule and lighting hours for the 2026-27 season have not yet been announced, so please check the official website before heading out). In the early afternoon, head to Sirius (大和市文化創造拠点シリウス, Yamato City Culture Creation Hub), a 3-minute walk from the station. It's a cultural complex centered around a library, where you can read books, explore the building, and spend relaxed time with your kids. In the evening, head to the station-front promenade. The tree-lined street right outside the station is wrapped in light, and its convenient location makes it easy to enjoy right after a train trip. Winter evenings get cold, so please dress warmly.
