2026 Yokohama English Garden Christmas Display: A Full Day of Fun

This is a day for enjoying the 'Christmas Display' at the Yokohama English Garden, an authentic English-style garden a short distance from Yokohama Station, dressed up in its Christmas finery. It usually runs from early November to December 25 (in 2025 it ran from November 4 to December 25), and since the 2026-27 season's dates have not yet been announced, please check the official website before heading out. Admission is 1,000 yen for adults, 500 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and free for preschoolers (rates for November 1 to December 25, 2025). The garden has no outdoor lighting and cannot be viewed after sunset, so this course is designed to be enjoyed leisurely in the bright afternoon hours. In the early afternoon, take in the huge diorama at the Hara Model Railway Museum, known for its world-class collection, then take a break at Sogo Yokohama before heading to the garden. Winter afternoons get cold, so dress warmly.
