2026 Yokohama Chinatown Spring Festival Lantern Lights Full-Day Course

Spend a day enjoying the 《Spring Festival Lantern Lights》, in which all of Yokohama Chinatown is decorated with lantern-motif lights. It typically runs from early November through around February the following year, after the Lunar New Year (last year it ran November 1, 2025 through February 24, 2026); the schedule for the 2026-27 season has not yet been announced, so please check official information. In the early afternoon, take a seaside stroll at Yamashita Park, then once in Chinatown, visit the Yokohama Mazu Temple. As the sun sets, the whole town, including Ichiba-dori Bridge and Yamashita Koen-dori, is bathed in light, making for an exotic evening you can enjoy along with street food. Viewing is free. Winter evenings get cold, so dress warmly.
