2026 Tsukui-ko Shiroyama Illumination (Tsukui-ko Shiroyama Prefectural Park): A Full-Day Course

This illumination lights up the Flower Garden of Tsukui-ko Shiroyama Prefectural Park on the shores of Lake Tsukui. It usually begins lighting up in mid-November, with the end date varying by year (through late January in FY2024, and through December 31 in FY2025; the 2026-27 season's schedule and lighting hours have not yet been announced, so please check the official announcement). In the early afternoon, take a leisurely stroll at the Water Garden on the opposite shore of the lake, then look for freshly harvested local vegetables and souvenirs at the Tsukui-ko Tourist Center in the Flower Garden. Once the sun sets, the lakeside light display finally takes center stage. There is a parking lot, making it convenient to visit by car. Nights in the mountains get cold, so be sure to dress warmly.
