Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise (横浜・八景島シーパラダイス) is an island in the sea that has become a leisure island in its entirety. Its aquarium consists of four facilities, led by the Aqua Museum, one of Japan's largest. The Aqua Resorts Pass covering all four aquarium facilities is 3,500 yen for adults and high school students, 2,200 yen for elementary and junior high school students, 1,200 yen for young children (age 4 and up), and 3,000 yen for seniors (age 65 and up). There is also a One Day Pass including unlimited rides (5,900 yen for adults and high school students, among other prices), so you can choose to match how your family wants to spend the day. It is open year-round, and opening hours vary by the day, so be sure to check the official opening-hours calendar. This is a sea-filled full-day course: play by the water at the neighboring Umi-no-Koen (海の公園) beach in the morning, then cross over to the island. Parking, restrooms, and stroller facilities are all well provided.
